Eric Sharum, co-owner of Oklahoma Sports Network, has been in broadcasting for 36 years. He is passionate about all sports, but especially on the local level. He finds it very rewarding to provide a service for many who cannot possibly attend a game and to share the experience with family and friends from around the world or to provide the opportunity for others to relive it with replays or playbacks. He has enjoyed broadcasting play by play and color commentary for sports for 25 years and has received an Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters award for best in play-by-play. Eric takes pride in OSN’s investment in top quality equipment and experienced broadcast crews to provide great picture, production elements and commercials.
Eric grew up in Iron River, Michigan and received a degree in broadcasting. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Cae, and their two sons, Caleb and Joshua and wife Maggie.
Eric is the play by play announcer for the Macarthur Highlanders, Cameron Men’s Basketball, and various playoff and games of the week.
